Question:
Questions about a PacSun interview?

Today while I was at PacSun shopping, I asked if they were hiring & the manager said yes they were hiring seasonal positions, gave me an application and told me to bring it to the group interview later this week. I have a few questions...
1. What should I wear. I know PacSun is incredibly casual. I've seen sales associates wearing jeans and tees and the manager who gave me the application was actually wearing a sweatshirt. The outfit I'm thinking of wearing is: Kirra flowy sheer top (with a tank underneath!), black leggings and boots. Is that too formal for PacSun? Should I wear skinny jeans instead? I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard.
2. How many people are in a group interview?
3. What is the average wage for a cashier/sales associate?
4. What are some questions I will be asked/ the appropriate answers?

1) Even though the employees wear casual you should wear semi-formal to the interview.

2) It depends. Usually everyone, like you, who wants a job will be there.

3) Depends on the state but if you have no experience expect minimum wage.

4) You will be asked why you want to work there. What your strengths/weaknesses are. How you would handle hypothetical customer service problems. Since its a cashiers job, some basic math most likely.

5) What I did during my last interview is: After I left the interview I called the manager and asked "I'm sorry, I forgot to ask: Is this a permanent job or temporary?" I figured that way the manager would know I'm interested and that I'm planning on being there a long time and two, he would be remember me because now that's two times I spoke to him instead of just one.

I'm not really sure about what to ask in a group interview but whatever you do ask keep it related to the job and the company. If you want to try the call back thing I did then ask him if its season or permanent not permanent or seasonal; its important what word you say first. Good Luck!
