I had my first interview with NIKE last Thursday. I applied for the Part Time Athlete (Sales Associate), position, I would say that the first interview was great, I was interviewed as a group with three other guys and I was the only girl, I just got a call from Nike wanting to schedule a second interview, and its on Monday, I was wondering if I could get some tips on what to expect this time around, I really didn't know that Nike had second interviews for a sales associate job, but either way I'm happy, Can I please get some help, how should I prepare for this interview, how do I make sure I get the job?

Thank you soo much!!

All you can do is present yourself in the best possible light i.e. arrive 15 minutes prior to interview, dress nicely, big smile, shake hands etc. Below are some Nike interviews shared by people who applied. Luck!

Sales Associate at NIKE Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Seattle, WA

Interview Details –I applied online through their jobs website on 10/2. About two weeks later I received a phone call which turned into my phone screen in which they just asked me a few initial questions about why I wanted to work for Nike, and what sports and customer service meant to me. At the conclusion of the questions, the employee set me up for an interview for a week later (10/20). Upon my arrival, I realized that it would be a group interview. I was interviewed by the Shipping & Receiving manager, as well the the HR manager. They interviewed one other candidate and myself at the same time, asking us the same questions. After the interview, I received an email about a background check for Nike. Upon submission of that, I was contacted the next day by the HR manager and was offered a job as an Athlete.

Interview Questions-•Tell me about a time in which you saw a coworker being dishonest, and talk about what you did to handle the situation?•Talk about a time when you ran into a conflict with another individual, and describe how you diffused it from escalating into something more serious?

Seasonal Athlete at NIKE Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Nov 2012– Reviewed Nov 21, 2012

Interview Details –I applied online through NIKE's website and got a call about a week later. They gave a short interview with basic questions like "what is your availability?" "how old are you?" and "why do you want to work here?" They scheduled me for an interview the next day. Dressed semi casual (jeans, heels, and a nice shirt). It was a group interview with 2 other people and 2 managers interviewed us and we took turns answering questions. Questions included: "Give an example of a time you received excellent customer service," "give an example of a time you worked with a team to solve a problem," and "what is your passion?" NO STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES QUESTIONS. The managers made us feel comfortable and it was very casual. They implied we'd all be getting the job and then said they would email us with an offer. I thought I had not received the job after checking my email constantly, until THREE WEEKS LATER someone called and offered me a job after putting me on hold for 30 minutes>:( I went in for orientation 2 days later to fill out paperwork along with about 20 other new employees and we received free employee dress. Then we had training everyday from 6pm-10pm for a week, which was very difficult with 20 people... Overall everyone there was super awesome and nice, it was just very unorganized:)

Interview Question –What is your favorite NIKE product?

Negotiation Details –You don't negotiate. Starting pay is $8.40 an hour, discount is 30%, and you receive a free pair of NIKE's, 2 pairs of pants, and 2 shirts.

Yes he should. He was set up for an ambush which has never happened for any previous panellist. Never before has QT been about one panellist and never has the audience and panel been so partisan. Griffin should be allowed to debate the current issues on the same footing as everyone else and be judged on that. If he is inadequate then we are quite capable of seeing that for ourselves. What happened on Question Time was a premeditated act of bullying. Why didn't they just put him in stocks and throw rotten fruit at him. A smug Dimbleby and his far left paymasters sold a good debate show down the river in order to grab some cheap political street cred. Get Griffin back, put some proper political issues to him and let's see how he gets on.

I love long skirts. My bf prefers the short ones. So my wardrobe is loaded w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
