Sales Associate at Levi Strauss Accepted Offer – Interviewed in San Francisco, CA Jun 2012– Interview Details –I walked into Levi's looking for employment and discovered that they were holding open interviews. I signed up and was told to complete the application online before coming to the interview. I showed up at Levi's on the interview date and was told to wait. People began to gather around, and I got a pretty good look at who I'd be interviewing with. The person holding the interview was very personable and energetic. We were asked a series of questions, some relating to our experience, what we have to offer the company, and exercises in advertising ourselves, and working with partners to advertise them. It was an interesting interview experience, and very fun. My advice: If you're not outgoing, or at least can't fake being personable and outgoing, you will not do well in this interview. Speak up, be yourself, and if you're shy, break through it. Before you go into the interview, remember key words that companies may want to hear. Its great to say you're fun and friendly, but what about reliability, your work ethic, skills you've gained from past experience? Mention important things and don't fall off topic (others did this). And most of all, be confident in what you're saying. Distinguish yourself from others in the group, make eye contact and smile (:
Interview Questions
• Tell me about yourself. Why are you here at this interview?,• What skills do you have that will benefit this company? • If you had to advertise yourself, what would you say?
Sales Associate at Levi Strauss Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Los Angeles, CA
Interview Details –The interview was really fun; the interviewer made it really personal and made it less nervewrecking. I applied online just about a week before they called me back: I just put a lot of volunteer experience and extracurriculars since I didn't have work experience. I was really surprised that they got back to me so fast. Try not to get into all the details of why you're perfect for the job when it doesn't pertain to the question )In short, don't try to oversell yourself). Don't try to one-up others; listen respectfully and look interested and engaged.
Interview Questions• How would you describe your fashion? ,• What attracted you to apply to Levi's? • Talk about a time when you were put in a situation witnessing a theft or small/large crime
What is the history of Levi? (check their website i.e. date established, # of locations, who founded Levi, community involvement, do they have bonus or discount cards etc.)
Sales Associate at Levi Strauss No Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY
Interview Details –I applied online and within a week I got a call back for my first interview. The interview took place in-store and was conducted by a manager. The interviews are group format so besides myself, there were 4 other applicants in the room. The manager would ask questions regarding our work experience, knowledge of the company, scenario questions (what would you do if...), and other basic questions. After my first interview, I was called back in for a second which was conducted in the same manner but with a different manager. I got a third callback and tried for days to return their call but have not heard back from them. The employees were all very nice and they really talked up the company, but I felt they were unprofessional when it came to getting back to people.
Interview Question –Describe a situation where you had issues with a co-worker and tell me how you handled (use school if no work experience)
